asp.net issues: Failed to map the path '/'.

I am getting the following issue while running the applicaiton in visual studio, where as after deploying in IIS it was working fine.

I was unable to debug the app please help

its in vs 2005, asp.net 2.0

Error Details:

try changing the app pool identity  from "ApplicationPoolIdentity" to "Network Service"

I am getting this issue while running from VS2005 no need for app pool

have you tried clearing all temp files in the ASP.NET Temporary Files folder?

this also happened to me awhile back and I upgraded my .NET framework to 3.5 and that resolved the problem for me. Not sure if that's an option for you.
