Citrix Xenapp 6.5 Throttle User Session
Hi
Ugh, because I have to support cruddy applications and their clueless developers, I need to find a way to throttle a per user XenApp 6.5 user session to 750 MB of memory and one proc core.
The issue with the app is that it is not designed for Citrix or TS. The app will only allow five concurrent users to get logged on, then after 15 minutes another 5 and so on. The load test we did with 20 users eventually getting logged into the app only taxed the server at 10% on resources at the peak (1% disk & network). BUT, the developers will never admit that there is something wrong the code and it must be a Citrix problem.
I've done a little research and can't find anything obvious in the farm policies and wondering if there is something native built into Xenapp or a third party tool I can buy.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
