Exchange UM cannot transfer from AA to Lync users. Exchange UM error 1136 1079

I am having this recurring issue where when users (internal or external from PSTN) call one of our auto attendant, if they try to reach someone through the speech directory or pressing 0, they get the "Call cannot be transferred" and errors error ID 1136  and ID 1079 show up in the event logs. I did read that this usually happens when the certificate assigned for the UM role does not have the FQDN name of the UM server but in my case it does. We do have an internal certificate authority that signed the certificate. The certificate for the other roles is from godaddy... We have one exchange server with all the roles running 2010 SP3 and CU2 and we have a Lync Server 2010 that does everything. I have no issues accessing voicemail or users can call out and receive calls, etc... Exchange server is running 2008 R2 (no SP1 yet). I do not think this has something to do with the Lync portion...
