To apply host/cluster profile form one to another in network

Need to understand if we take host/cluster profile form on of my esxi hosts /cluster and export it-then trying to import the same in another host/cluster..

what are important things to be checked/edited before applying profile on new host/cluster in same network, so that we can avoid any conflict in same network ../

will that also change the name /ip for destination host ?

bests practice before we apply profile form one host to another one?

difference b/w host and cluster profile ?

is cluster profile also have permission/folders/resource pool which can be  imported on new cluster ?

You can achieve this using Host profile feature, this is bounded by license. You need Enterprise Plus license (4.1 & 5.x)

Below are the steps in creating and applying host profiles,

Step1:      Create a profile, using the designated reference host.
Step 2:      Attach a profile      to a host or cluster.
Step 3:      Check the host’s compliance against a profile.
Step 4:      Apply the host profile of the reference host to other hosts or clusters of hosts

For more details please refer to below VMware documentation,
