Can I deploy browser settings across all client machines within our domain?

Hi,

I have an sharepoint 2010 intranet site. In order to prevent multiple authentication prompts when when users access content I need to deploy internet explorer 8 and 9 settings (or firefox and chrome also) on all client machines within our domain (Connections/LAN/Automatically detect settings, Security/Trusted Sites). Is this possible through some sort of login script?

Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Netminder,

You can configure IE Site sites using Group Policy using one of two methods. One using Internet Explorer Maintenance or the other via a standard policy. Both options are listed below:

You can also control Firefox using Group Policy by download and importing the ADM file listed in the link below:

Hope this helps
