Checkboxes in Access 2010

Good morning experts,
I have the following code to get my textboxes and associated label to enable or disable depending on if a checkbox is selected:

If Me.cbASAP.Value = True Then
Me.txtASAP.Enabled = True
Else
Me.txtASAP.Enabled = False
End If

This worked just fine, until I used conditional formating on the textboxs to change the background color. My question is;

Is there a way to get the same checkbox interaction without using VBA?
Thank you,
V/R,
Shannon

I've not had that happen...but I would then move the background color change to VBA as well.

You can't change the color of a disabled control.  It will always be gray.

However, you can use the Locked property instead of Enabled in many cases.

If Me.cbASAP.Value = True Then
Me.txtASAP.Locked = false
Else
Me.txtASAP.Locked = true
End If
