iPhone 4s - PassCode & iOS 7.0.2 Update - Locked out

iPhone 4s - PassCode & iOS 7.0.2 Update

After 2 attemps to to enter iPhone 4s/iOS 7.0 PassCode, I was locked out - blank screen, no response to any iPhone controls. I then connected iPhone to MAC iTunes 11.1 via USB 2. After few minutes, phone vibrated and update to iOS 7.02 screen was available. After backup (from iOS 7.0) & update, iPhone vibrated and all was OK with iOS 7.0.2

Just before iPhone lockup, 2 of 4 PassCode indicators at top of screen were 'on'.

This is scary! what if I had been away from Mac when this happened? Even worse, I might not of had enough savvy to do above.

Don't really have a question, just concerned about what happened at lockout.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Had you set up a new passcode at the prompt or were you using a passed one?   I had no trouble with the passcode though I did turn it off when I decided I did not want it.
Also may have been a glitch that has been rectified with the new upgrade.

Also, when I looked at "What was fixed" when downloading IOS7.0.2 in iTunes, Passcode Fix was the main update in IOS7.0.2.  The passcode system had been hacked, and V7.0.2 was issued specifically to correct it. That is probably why you saw a change.

Hopefully 7.0.2 has fixed this anomaly.
