QVO6 installed itself

While installing FLV player from Applian Technologies, QVO6 got installed by itself and overrode my default google.co.in. I tried uninstalling it but it keeps coming back. I read up and I learnt it is a spyware or something.

There are solutions out there but most of them talk of installing another software or two to get rid of QVO6. Well I can't trust that so I need help.

Download Malwarebytes Antimalware (free) and scan your computer both from the safe mode and then from the normal Windows mode.

Yeah, so I'm resolving my own stuff after paying this website. Money wasted.
No. You said you found an answer by your own research. How does it mean that EE is not helpful? Had you provided feedback after one post -- and not found the solution -- EE would have suggested more solution steps.

Please judge not so hastily and harshly.  Thanks and regards. :-)
Well, an update. QV06 crashed my HDD. Beware.
No workable solutions came.
