We are doing fresh setup so checking if going to latest product would be better..xd7 is just 3 months old thats the only risk we see

I haven't used XD7 since its release yet so unfortunately I can't speak to if it is buggy or working well. I did use a prerelease version some at Citrix Summit/Synergy and the bugs I saw were pretty minor and mostly cosmetic and were most likely fixed in the release. I didn't test it extensively enough though to really be able to erase any doubts. You may want to check their forums and see what people are saying and see if they have any common major issues.
