Hi All,

Hopefully an easy question.

Are there any limitations to installing SQL Server 2012 of any variety on Windows Server 2012 Foundation?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. All versions of SQL 2012 will install on Foundation

Foundation will limit you to 1 CPU (but not on CPU cores) and 32 GB memory, which may limit your processing?

The other limits are 10 IAS connections, no failover clustering, 15 users, and 30 inbound simultaneous connections.  There are other limits, but may not limit SQL.

The foundation server must stay in a workgroup...or if put into a domain, it must be a domain controller (joined at the root of the forest)
