Boot to selected ISO on USB

I want to boot to a selected ISO USB stick but also store data there.  I have a variety of ISOs that I need to boot to on a regular basis.  Currently, I've never successfully booted to a USB stick to begin with so my experience is limited.  Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sardu looks like the best choice but the download links are all advertisements.  What a creepy feeling.

Another good one is YUMI. It let's you create bootable sticks with multiple ISOs on it. Works with most ISOs, not all.
