Netapp controller 2 cannot join windows 2012ad domain


Having a netapp, that i'm trying to join my ad 2012 with cifs setup.

controller 1 joins without any problem.
controller 2 cannot join and gives me "a cannot resolve kdc for requested realm"

I can ping both my domain controllers, and they can ping both interfaces on the controllers.

Any idears?

Could not authenticate with domain controller: Wrong Realm in request.

Make sure it's trying to authenticate on the correct interface, are you seeing any logs on the windows 2012 DC?  Is the time correct?

The problem was an old domain configuration. The controller had to be reset and rebooted. Then it worked
