Exclamation Point displays BEFORE text, when coded AFTER

Hi Experts,
This is the strangest thing I've ever seen.

We have coded a left nav link with the text: Give Now!

But when viewed in a browser, it appears as !Give Now

The exclamation point displays BEFORE the text, even though the actual html has it AFTER the text.

What in the world could be causing this?

You can see it here:

Any thoughts?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here's a clue
