How To Open Toshiba Laptop

How can I open a Toshiba Satellite L645D S4040 laptop?  Trying to get to fan / heat sink.  

Or how can I fix laptop getting hot on bottom after running for couple hours?

Note that most laptops get hot at the bottom.  Variety of possible solutions.

Probably the best is using a laptop cooling pad.
Make sure there is an air gap between bottom of laptop and the table.
Check fans working correctly, no dust on blades and no dust in ventilation ducts.  This is a common cause of heat and other problems.
Replace heatsink compound.
