You can enable 'Audit logon events' for the Default Domain Policy to record logon and logoffs to the Event logs on the Domain Controllers.<br />
Setting can be found in the Group Policy Management console, Edit the Default Domain Policy and the Default Domain Controller policy for this setting:<br />

To ensure logging is kept, increase the max size of the Security Event Logs to a few GBs in size as it can quickly fill up.
