You can enable 'Audit logon events' for the Default Domain Policy to record logon and logoffs to the Event logs on the Domain Controllers.
Setting can be found in the Group Policy Management console, Edit the Default Domain Policy and the Default Domain Controller policy for this setting:
Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, Audit Poilicy,
Enable Audit Logon Events and tick 'Success' for successful logon and logoffs.
To ensure logging is kept, increase the max size of the Security Event Logs to a few GBs in size as it can quickly fill up.
