Microsoft Exam 70-243

I just passed Microsoft Exam 70-243 test and I wanted to know what I could take additionally to continue to get certified.  I already hold the MCITP-ea and MCSE 2012 private cloud.

You could do MCSE Server Infrastructure as well; since you've already got the MCSE Private Cloud, it's also just two more exams.

It really just depends on what your individual goals are and/or whether your employer expects you to attain (and maintain) a particular level of certification.

Forget about MCSM/MCA, though, since they're being retired. It seems likely that Microsoft will come out with a new higher level certification at some point, but for now, we'll just have to wait.
70-243 is a MCTS exams. It don't have a MCITP path.

for certification point of view, I will start to step out Microsoft and look for others. After so many years in IT, it is really the employer and/or your personal choice to keep it up going.

Lately, I am looking at CISSP which I found very interesting and I also start reading TOGAF.
it provides some career path laddering but again, it is up for your choice :)
It depends on where your expertise lies. You next step might be to look for other certs outside of Microsoft. MS exams don't hold as much value as they used to. Security, as another expert said is a good choice. Or if you want to get into networking, the Cisco exams would be worthwhile.
