I want a windows 8 system not to auto lock because of the screen saver
We have a GPO that makes the systems lock and now i have moved the system from that OU to a new one where the GPO is not affecting the system but even now when i change the registry and local GPO and restart the settings are reverted

Can i know exactly what to change on this windows 8 system so it does not lock

Try these options:

Change the screensaver timeout and uncheck the "On resume, display logon screen"

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\System Settings
Under " Password protection on wakeup "
Select Don't require a password

Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc
then go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Control Panel -> Personalization
and in the left pane double-click the setting "Do not display the lock screen" and set it to Enabled.
