ODBC Problem

I am using ODBC to connect mysql tables to an MS ACCESS front end. (2010)

all working fine and now I am getting ODBC -- call failed.

The strange thing is that I can double click on a table and the rows are displayed.

Yet when I click on linked table manager I am getting ODBC -- call failed.

Any Ideas, I suspect it is on the server side as all PC's connected are given the same error

Did it ever work?  Not all databases support all functions in ODBC.
