Network Drive showing in red

Hi,

Our Network Drive is showing in red. Our server has windows server 2008 installed on it.

There is no red cross on it so it is connected.

Kind Regards

Probably means you are at less than 10% free space on that share's drive/partition.

The network drive has less then 10% of space left out of total you can change the behaviour if you have FSRM installed.

Thanks for quick response, yes we have 7.66 GB left out of 97.6. But we didn't install anything that big which would eat up so much data why could that be ?

Could be a number of things.  Try using TreeSize to determine what is using the disk space.

Hi

When I checked that drive this morning it says that I have 34.7 GB left out of 97.6GB, we didn't delete any data nor did  we do anything to our drive. Why do you think that might be?

a failed backup can cause that.

During backup it creates several temp files, if the process fails there is nothing to clean it up until the next backup.
