VPS website keep going down

hi, Couple days ago I got a email from my Networksolutions VPS
sender is : Cron Daemon [root@*******.netsolvps.com]

and it said : /etc/cron.daily/rpm:

/bin/rm: cannot remove `/var/lib/rpm/__db*': No such file or directory

and today my website keep going down, I have reboot 3 times to make it work, every time I login found the VPS is response very slow. I call Tech Support ,they said my VPS could be cron job is running a high router and cause the VPS slow down and stop. how can I check what is running?

and I went to check all the schedular only Root show : /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/postfix-poplockdb-clean, I check Deamon and no any task there.

can I delete this ? I am using plesk panel 10.3.1.

I use ftp go into /var/lib/rpm/ and I did found 3 file call:__db.001,__db.002,__db.003
should I delete it ?

These are the databases for RPM. Which OS? Should be someth. rpm based, CentOS/RHEL/SuseEL?

First off, do you have ssh access? Do not just delete stuff.

Only if you have root ssh access, remove the files and rebuild the RPM database, depending on your system this can take a while:
sudo rpm --rebuilddb

Then look for errors: /var/log/messages is a good way to start the debug process.
You will list scheduled jobs this way:
ls /etc/cron.*

Also, look at what happend during boot:
dmesg
#or:
cat /var/log/boot.log
