I have SQL Server 2008 that is running on VMware VM installed with windows server 2003 R2 64 bit.<br />

8 GRAM are assigned to this VM and the vsphere performance for this VM shows that the memory usage is 16%<br />
<br />
But inside the OS ( with monitoring tool) the memory usage is 98 % and sqlserver.exe process is using high memory (which is normal for SQL structure).<br />
<b><br />
I need to know the actual memory usage in the server, I can not decide if i need to assign more memory to the server or no.</b><br />
