Delayed Write Failed

We have started to receive messages Delayed Failed Write  messages on the Windows XP computer. I am not seeing any error messages on the server (Windows 2003 Server). We recently had the network cabling and a new switch installed.

What do I need to do to resolve this error messages on the workstation?

Here is one link to an article that talks about this specifically for windows XP, but is dependent upon how you can generate this error (copying large files, etc).

Do you see any logs in the system event log that indicate corruption on the disk has been identified?  If so, try running a chkdsk /f /r (will require a reboot).
