Inexpensive Network monitoring software needed

What do people out there use to monitor their network activity? Have clients with 30 or less employees and it seems that I lose bandwidth on every Windows 7 pc I install to replace an XP pc. Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Paessler PRTG Free Version.  You can set up lots of devices and monitor 10 at a time.  You can choose an initial 10 and then swap others in as seems appropriate for the situation.  Usually not all the clients are important but the backbone and switches often are.
