Wordpress Login: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

After installing Wordpress using Importbuddy.php (part of BackupBuddy from iThemes), the site appears correctly with theme, plugins, and content. However, when I login as administrator, the login is successful (http://www.allstarboating.com/p/wp-admin/profile.php), but the page displays this text:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Actions I've tried:
I've checked database and wp-config.php file, no problem there.
I've checked wp_options > wp_user_roles, and tried replacing as described here,
Wordpress version 3.5.2

Any suggestions?

SOLUTION: Changing the installation folder from public_html to a sub-folder was not a problem. However, changing the database table prefix to something other than the default was causing the problem.

Did anything change during the move?  New path, new URL?
