Computer freezes
Hi Team,
I have FX 8 core AMD processor , mb support 32 RAM, at the moment i have 16GB RAM on it... Initially after the computer is started CPU goes 100% and then when i start my VM's , GNS3 applications it works fine with 8 to 10 % of CPU utilisation also less memory utilisation...
But for some reason when i try to run some exe file, start the browser for internet or without any activity ( No VM's or No GNS3 running { High processor. memory consuming apps ) the screen stops responding , no activity...Please help me on this subject,.. how to fix this.. as i am planning to get ESX server on this machine at the moment i have windows 7... not sure if the heat sink is an issue/Heating is an issue,.... Processor looks very cool or cabinet itself is cool not heating up........................

@Santasi : its almost 48 *C for CPU and 27*C for MB ......

the motherboard is getting heated up around 40*C..... and it seems like its the issue with MB... so sent for service center.... .... i will keep you guys updated.....

I have replaced the power supply got 500w From Thunderbird. now when i leave pc for some download during the night with some vlc video repeatedly running on it... it goes in safe mode never comes back in the morning.............. !!! i did power cyclying of the monitor cables removed then and re-plugged then back again but this DAMN thing never comes up unless i reboot ... its sooo annoying ...!!! Also it says no signal and such.......

Looks like it happens intermittently, I have rebooted it only happens when i turn off the screen and leave for any kind of Download and such. And when i try to switch On the screen my CPU makes sounds as if it has to do some huge task ...... And its kind of Annoying i suspect the something to do with Graphic PU/No Signal to Screen... but now it happens very rare...
At the service center they tested with a different PS and it worked .. so my initial issue is fixed Tower never gets hanged now.... But its the Screen now.... ...

ok let me put it again.
#1 No activity on screen / Mouse or Keyboard screen activity hangs stops responding
#2 No display / Monitor going in Save mode ( When left without any activity or input from keyboard or Mouse for certain period for downloads to complete or left by itself....
Issue #1 looks like it got fixed after PS was changed to Cooler Master "Thunder".
Issue #2 Appeared only after the Issue #1 was fixed my suspect even if Issue #2 was existing it never got a chance to show itself since issue #1 was always on top of everything.
So when i say CPU makes sound, its the sound from CPU tower ( Whatever we call that rectangular box), It makes lot of sound when the Video signal to monitor goes in "Monitor in Safe mode " & Then next message i see will be " no Signal from CPU or something like "
Note : I run resource consuming Apps on the System there will be no sound.. ** It only appears when the system is in Issue #2.. So i suspect Mother board could be an issue...
