MS Access What is the best way to delete a customer from a table?

I want to remove a customer from view in my order forms. I don't want to delete the customer and erase the history of past orders.

One way is to apply a filter to all of my forms. Is there a better way? Apply one filter to the table level so I don't have to apply a filter to all of my forms?

add a YesNo field "InActive"
check the field for the customer you don't want to show

then create a query

select * from table where [Inactive]=0

and use it as the Record Source of your form

In addition to cap's advice:

To insure that the Customer is no longer selected when users enter a new order, be sure to filter any dropdowns or combos to remove those customers who are no longer active:

"SELECT ID, Customer FROM MyTable WHERE InActive=False"
