Manually Download and Install the "Microsoft Windows Update Installer"
Somewhere there must exist the Internet Explorer "plug in" or ??? that allows Windows XP Update to run. We are having issues here with some older machines that cannot update via Windows Update. They attempt to download and install the current Windows Update code and then fail.
We're looking to manually install the Windows Update for the IE browser so the units can access Windows Update on their own and apply 150+ updates.
Anyone know where we can get this file? Microsoft Update file would be useful as well.
