iPhone ActiveSync emails not being sent, just disappear

Hi,

I have two users who are having the same issue. When they try to email from the iPhone (exchange activesync) the email does not go anywhere after pressing the send button. Nothing is in the sent items, nothing in the outbox, it doesn't even attempt to send it. It just disappears. They are able to receive emails just fine.

One of these uses has another issue. Emails she moves in her Outlook's inbox (to other folders or deletes them), do not move in her Inbox on the iPhone. They accumulate there and are marked as unread.

Both users upgraded to iOS 7. I searched for similar problems but didn't find any, I didn't look for very long. Anybody know whats' up?

Thanks,
Primus

There have been various fixes for the random bugs associated with iOS 7.  When you say 2 users in specific are these the only 2 users or 2 users out of 10 or 50 having this issue?

Did you perhaps try removing and re-adding the account back to the phone?  Reset the network settings on the phone? etc.

I've tried re-adding the account on both phones, that didn't do anything.

It's 2 users out of many.

Did you do the reset network settings trick?  I assume there are other iphones in your environement using IOS 7?

I just tried it, had to wait to get her phone. Same result with the inbox, it shows emails that she's moved or deleted. Although she can send email now, that works.

Its a little difficult to say at this point for there are so many random/various issues with iOS 7.  I believe there will be another patch coming out pretty quick but unspecified to what it is addressing (various issues).  Probably sometime next week.

Just a simple question, when you resynced the phone did the message sync back to the inbox or in the correct locations?

Being able to send emails is now resolved but the inbox still shows emails that we're organized into folders or deleted hours ago.

I never found a solution to this but I think it was fixed in an apple update and or resolved on it's own....
