Copy Field Upgrade Software (FUS) from a Cisco Router to WLC
Hello,
I have tried in the past to save a Field Upgrade Software (FUS) to disk0 on a Cisco 6500 using a Sup 720 and configuring is as a TFTP Server using disk0 and the file name (Example Listed below). But when I SSH into the WLC and tried to copy the FUS from the Router over to the WLC I would receive the following error,
Router
tftp-server disk0:AIR-CT5500-K9-1-7-0- 0-FUS.aes
WLC
Mode...................... .......... .......... ... TFTP
Data Type...................... .......... ........ Code
TFTP Server IP........................ .......... . X.X.X.X
TFTP Packet Timeout................... .......... . 6
TFTP Max Retries................... .......... .... 10
TFTP Path...................... .......... ........ /
TFTP Filename.................. .......... ........ CT5500-K9-1-7-0-0-FUS.aes
This may take some time.
Are you sure you want to start? (y/N) y
TFTP Code transfer starting.
% Error: Code file transfer failed - Error from server: No such file
