I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You are very welcome.

The additional points were far from  necessary, but thank you for the kind gesture.

BFN,

That was some nice work though fanpages.

:) Thanks buddy.

As I commented in that thread, it is a method of allocating additional points, as a question asker sees fit.

Although I have not applied this to previous threads, I have de-indexed this one from any search results so it will not be visible, like the past examples:

(If I had done this with the earlier threads, I couldn't demonstrate the previous examples, of course!)

So, that's how you guys are bumping points!  Wish I would have bypassed this question, lol.

Giving more than 500 points for a question, in addition to circumventing Experts Exchange's systems, is a violation of the Terms of Use. They have been removed from this question.

Not the Terms of Use that I agreed to when I became a member, Netminder.

Do I presume you will now be deducting points gained in the same way across all the other questions through the countless years that this was deemed acceptable?

If you read back through the threads I highlighted, & the many others for the other "Experts" within the "Top 25" list gained throughout my membership (since 1999), you will see that it has been "acceptable" within the Microsoft Excel Topic Area & no further action was taken by any of the site staff that were regular contributions to the Topic Area (at that time, & since).

I specifically did not ask for these points, but then I didn't ask for the others either.

Please let me know if you are going to remove those points previously gained in this way.

Thanks.

OK, thank you.

I have decided to return to a normal member, & withdraw from being a Community Volunteer in any respect.

I would sooner just be here answering questions.

Thank you for the opportunity.
