Add User Developed Report to GP

I made a copy of the Great Plains SOP Blank Invoice Form and named the copy SCMS Blank Invoice Form,
I made many changes to the layout as we want to use this at one division in our organization.

I am not seeing the new report in the Alternate/Modified Reports screen. How do I get GP to recognize the new report under the Sales module so that I can assign access to it?

Unfortunately, it does not quite work this way. Out-of-the-box, you cannot create custom reports with your own names and still have them work from the same place(s) where the original GP reports work. GP allows one original and one modified copy of the same report. The name of the report is the same - GP know which is the original and which is modified because the modified report is stored separately, in the Reports.dic file. Each user/company combination can have access to one or the other, either the original or modified version, but not both at the same time.

Custom reports, on the other hand, can only be printed by going to Reports | Customized and I do not anticipate that this will work for the SOP reports as you expect.
