MIME Bounce back

So I have been getting this bounce back email that says:

[MIME content for this item is stored in attachment $RFC822.eml. Parsing MIME content failed: Incorrect format in MIME data..]

I have seen a couple IBM forum posts but I am not sure what the fix is. I have sent the same email with PDF attachment to other people externally and they have received it successfully.  Only two or three don't receive it and then i get this generic message as listed above.

Any suggestions on a setting change?

A guess: check if you have same problem when you disable your anti-spam application.

But if that's the case the others wouldn't haven't gotten the original email sent by us.

Not necessarily, e.g. if the anti-spam changes the headers of the message. I'm somewhat out of my league here, just combining googled results with experience and a few years of EE...

Hi there,

I agree with Sjef_bosman, that the Anti-Spam could be the cause of this issue . However, I would like to ask  you few questions about it ...

- What do you use for any spam ?? Do you use a security appliance e.g Iron port , Sophos , Iron Mail or just an application .
- What do the recepient with the problem use for Mail Software ? e.g. do they use Lotus notes exchange or what ??
- Did you ask the recepient to check their Anti-Spam Application , appliance etc.??

In oder to, Isolate the problem could you try to resend the same troubling email to the same probalamtic recepients from another PC then send the same email using your personal email account e.g. Yahoo.com etc.

Best Wishes
