Outlook 2013 Display

I have switched from Outlook 2003 to outlook 2013.  The 03 version displays 20 emails, with a view pane to the right. 2013 only displays 10 emails. How can I reduce the size of what is displayed in the list (in 2013) so I can get more emails displayed.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Click on view tab and on the left-hand side change view to single etc. You can adjust your view there.

Go to Outlook 2013, View Tab, Message Preview pull down, and turn Message Preview OFF. That gives you much more space. You can also select the number of lines of preview.

First, in your folder, click the View Tab.

Outlook 2013 View TabThen click the "Message Preview" (marked as 1 in picture) button and set it to 1 or off, the lower you set it the more emails you'll see.
If you click the "Reading Pane" (marked as 2 in picture) and set it to off, you get half your screen back!
If you click the "To-Do Bar" (marked as 3 in picture) and set it all to off, you get the right side of your screen back.

Hope this helps.

Can I reduce the font size used for the email list?  It's awful big

@NRhode  that appears to be how to change the fonts in a message. I'm more interested in reducing the font size of the email list.

You might wish to consider putting the preview pane below. All that you see in the list above (center) I get in one single line per email. The preview is below and if I need to, I open the email.

I tried the appearance shown above and went back to preview bellows. It simply works better for me.

Try the 'Change View' button in the views tab, set it to simple?
