Solarwinds installation problem

I have a Solarwinds installation problem. After I installed it, once I started “Orion web console” from windows “start--->program” I got the following error message. I turned off firewall and turned on its port in my windows 7, but the problem is still there. Anyone can give me some suggestion ? Second question is that it looks like that there are several version of Solarwinds. I do not know if I am using right version of it. thank you.

Here is what i am using with solarwinds

Hi Thank you so much for your fast reply. I dis not install SQL specifically on my windows 7. i think the SQL was installed as part of Solarwinds when i installed Solarwinds

" have sql server already enable TCP pipe? "  What does it mean ? I cannot know how to do that. it means "enable sql TCP port ? If so, i did not find SQL in PC‘ service.

The link that you gave is for Microsoft SQL 2005/2008. In my Windows 7, i do not have it.

I did not configure sql credential when i was installing solarwinds. it is because it did not ask me to do it when i was installing solarwinds. Thank you.

You definitely need sql server to install solarwind.

Install sql server - in this case microsoft sql - define 'sa' account and password
Chose sql server type, microsoft sql, then used 'sa' credential to connect database.
