TMG Blocking Access to Some External sites on port 8080

Hi all,

Hope you can help, I have a strange issue here.

I have an external site on port 8080 that some users on my internal network need access to.
All other sites through our TMG proxy work fine.

The site URL looks like this http://x.x.x.x:8080
When I access this on a connection not protected by a firewall I can access the site without issue.

Through TMG I get this error:
•Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. Forefront TMG denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). (12202)

I then thought of testing another site running on port 8080 to test and TMG forwarded the request without issue and opened the site.

Why can I not view the site with address:
http://x.x.x.x:8080

your help is much appreciated.
thanks,

Is this web application on your DMZ or at the external hosting provider?

If this is on your DMZ, you might need to create Rule for Internal to External for this.
