SBS 2003 with Exchange to SBS 2011 migration - dry run

Hi all,

We have been looking into upgrading an old but solid sbs 2003 server to SBS 2011 using the migration wizard. Is there anyway to do a non destructive "dry run" to see if the migration will go ok and test for any potential hiccups.

The old server is running exchange and currently has 6 users.

Thanks,

Neil S.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

there is no way to dry run as far as I know.

best way would be to configure a test 2003 and migrate it to 2011. Will definitely help

performing a swing migration is non-destructive of the current SBS server.   sbsmigration.com
