Exchange 2013 Body Text Filtering

Hello Experts,

My question is simple - yet their are limited resources online so far for Exchange 2013. Is it possible (without third party tools) to check the body of a message at the transport layer stage or content filtering stage to look for a specific link inside the email? We have a couple of large spammers coming through that seem to have a few links in common. I would like to be able to scan for the link and then let it continue with the normal spam process.

Thoughts?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not that i know of. Exchagne 2013 has a basic spam filter that has limited functionality in regards to other 3rd party products. It is possible MS will release an update in the future to add additional features to Exchange 2013.

I guess you can do this with transport rule. You can filter such emails take necessary action.

Unfortunately while Exchange is an excellent product it falls behind on spam protection and control functionality. I will be adding an additional product to my solution to assist Exchange.
