Sharepoint site

We use a SBS 2011, running  sharepoint. After configuration, when a user login to their domain computer and open the internet explorer, the default site is the sharepoint site. We have another document management system that is not made by Microsoft. How do i change the default site to point to the url of the other document management system.

You can make a GPO do this:

1. Create a GPO and link it to a scope (Site, Domain or OU level not group) that contains all your specified user accounts.
 2. Edit the GPO: GPO name-->User Configuration-->Policies-->Administrative Templates-->Windows Components-->Internet Explorer-->Disable changing home page settings-->Enable-->Home Page: input your specified home page
 3. Logoff, restart or run gpupdate /force from an elevated command prompt from user's computer to apply this GPO

If you want to update the GPO "on-the-fly" do a GPUPDATE /FORCE from the command-line ..  Of course, a reboot of the computer should re-pull any updates as well..

Thanks i will try it. But don't i need to stop the sharepoint site somewhere from a GPO.

No, you could restart it or force an update with gpupdate /force from a command line.
