what's a good source code control system for Microsoft Development ?

What's a good / common source code control system for Microsoft development ? Our company uses Dimensions but we have trouble using it in an integrated manner.

Right now we're on VS 2008, Sql Server 2008 R2, but moving to 2012 soon.

I googled this and mostly saw some old articles.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

angelIII, great, thanks. I'll have a look at it.

Team Foundation server is the better option which will provide you good control on VS.net Based development.

Any plan to go with SharePoint Development in future, TFS would be very much Handy.

Hope this Helps
