Play YouTube mp4 videpo in HTML

How do I pay a video (mp4) on YouTube in an HTML page?

I've tried 6 - 7 different ways I found on the web; nothing works. Half of them expect flash, I'm trying to GET AWAY from Flash.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't need that headache. I have a customer that needs this running; we have a flash version that works fine but we want a version that works on IOS devices.

I can't believe this is so difficult.

That worked great, except I want it to autoplay when it loads; the parameter autoplay=1 doesn't work (that's what I use with flash videos at YuTube).

To GaryC123,

Woops, I used &autoplay instead of ?autoplay. I get confused how YouTube works with /embed/<video name>.

I used ?autoplay=1; worked great.

Thanks

Excellent; I spent 1 1/2 hours trying to figure that out. Why isn't it documented?

It is documented

But sometimes it's knowing what to look for that counts ;o)
