I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Some history?
Was it working before?
Have you changed anything?
etc

At first glance the site cannot be found - this could be a dns problem or the site is not set up on the server or the site has not been setup properly or a multitude of reasons.

IT Pros Agree: AI and Machine Learning Key

We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

I didn't change anything- let me check the DNS.

Whois says it expired on 2013-10-01 and the DNS was updated on 2013-10-02 which was probably the deletion of the DNS.  You or your client will have to renew the Domain Registration to get the site back up and running.

I can't even figure out who hosts it-  the name servers are pairnic, is it likely they host it? I am lost on this one.

mel200Author Commented:
Thanks, Dave Baldwin, I will get her to do that.

GaryCommented:
Ask her who hosts it. I don't think there is a way for us to find out, especially as there is no DNS records for us to trace it with.

If a renewal was done after it expired, it is possible that the registrar will not re-instate until after the payment clears.  If they used paypal that can take a week sometimes.

Thanks, everyone, I really appreciate the fast replies. I asked her to call PairNic and tell them her site was down, see if they missed a payment.
