I am using Word 2013, which are named .docx by default. I made a Word file, and it opens perfectly, but when I import it into SharePoint to a document library it opens as Edit Only.<br />

This is on Win 7 Pro. Also, when I import the Word document, it gives me several choices, some of which are 2000 -- 2003 and just .doc. &nbsp;But, there is no .docx.

Word Opens In Edit Only By Default

Microsoft Word is a commercial document editing program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite.
