No connection to Microsoft Exchange 2013 from Outlook clients

Honored Experts    (always a good way to start :-)    )

I am having a serious problem as we speak, and I need help URGENTLY.

Basicly my problem is, that my Outlook 2007 clients can not connect to my newly created Exchange 2013 server.

"There are no connection to Microsoft Exchange. Outlook must be online to complete this action"
(this is translated from Danish"

I can confirm that the Exchance 2013 is operational and that you can access user mailboxes through HTTPS://EXCHANGESERVER/OWA.

I have not yet applied the 3. part SSL certificate but I guess this is mostly for external access.

Your input is appreciated :-)

Outlook Anywhere is the only option available for connection in Exchange 2013.
It is used for both internal and external access.

You need to get your SSL certificate installed and then setup a split DNS system so that the external host name resolves internally to Exchange 2013. Adjust all of the URLs within Exhcange 2013 to use your external host name.

Also ensure that Outlook 2007 is fully up to date - so that means the latest service pack and the latest post service pack updates.
