I have another sharepoint site that I have created.  When I type in the URL I get the login window.  But once I log in I get a connection closed message.  Here is what I get

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5
Date: Mon, 07 Oct 2013 19:41:09 GMT
Connection: close

Can anyone tell why I am getting this message and how I can fix it, so I can access the site.  Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

normally this is shown when no root site collection for this web app has been created.
Do you see any errors in the event log?
Did you create a root site collection after creating the web app?
Which SharePoint version and edition?

We have SharePoint 2010 Foundation running on a server SBS 2011.

Yes, I created a root site collection.  I thought I may have missed that also and when I tried to created a root site a second time it told me one was already there.

Detach the content DB and re attach.

Hope this may help.
