crystal report insert gauge or graph

I have a crystal report where I have a group footer that has:
Sum of MTD sales
Month Budget
% of MTD sales compared to budget.

I would like to add a gauge or chart on each line that would graphically show how much of the month budget is completed.

So if they have 50% of their month budget completed the gauge or graph would show just that.  

but I'm not sure how to insert a chart that will show on each line of the group footer.

You would have to insert a chart for each line.  Probably easiest to have 3 group footer sections and 1 chart per.

You should be able to just insert the chart and show the data.  SInce you only have 1 data point it really won't show much

A gauge may impress the uninformed, but it would actually violate rules of proper data visualization.

A simple & effective solution would be to use ReplicateString() with a graphic character to create the effect of a single horizontal bar for each group footer.  For example, see this:
