OneNote 2010 files missing after update to Office 2013

Hi There

A user upgraded his Office to 2013 using Office 2013 built-in option to do an "upgrade" installation.

Now there are no files in his OneNote program.

Anyone have a good Idea where these might have gone off to?

Thanks in advance

OS is Win7 Pro 64Bit

Office versions are both 32bit

Exactly what files are missing? Sometimes OneNote puts files into a XXX.old folder while upgrading....

We found the files not by searching for, them that yielded no results- but after a reboot there was an extra selection under "My Notebook" available. Below Quick Notes a selection called misplaced notes appeared.

Once we clicked that all the notes reappeared - and we can now locate the OneNote files as well - Can't say that I have an idea where they where before though.

I suppose we can close this Question.

Best Regards

Very simple if unexpected Solution - on another users OneNote the option is not there - so it only appears if OneNote itself detects "orphaned" OneNote files.
