Reporting Services Service.exe high cpu usage

Dear All,
In virtualized SQL Server 2008 running on windows server 2003 i can see that the Reporting Services Service.ex is using high CPU load ...staring from 4% and increasing to reach 79%

I need to know if this normal or there is an fix for this issue ??

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

thats somewhat of a loaded question...
the amount of use can depend on the volume of reports being run.
also if there are other things running on the machine as well

Ive had spikes up to 98 percent on my machine when running daily reports

Here's an artice ai read int he past regarding how to find out how much its really using

Also there was a hotfix a few years back as well
Link to the hotfix is at hte bottom of htat article.

Hope this helps :)
