"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here you go.
Option Explicit

Sub ChangeCellValues()

    Dim R As Long
    With Sheets("Sheet2").Columns(1)
        For R = 1 To 2
            .Cells(R).Value = GetNewValue(.Cells(R))
        Next R
    End With
End Sub

Private Function GetNewValue(ByVal Target As Range) As String

    Dim NewValue As String

    GetNewValue = InputBox("Confirm or replace the current value in A" _
                           & CStr(Target.Row), "Confirm or enter", _
End Function

Open in new window

Run the procedure 'ChangeCellValues'.
