SNMP BackupExec


I'm just using a monitoring application called "Monitis" and we are just having a problem using the SNMP notification, i basically want to monitor if a backup was successful or not via SNMP.

1. Is this possible
2. How do you do it using the SNMP.

Yes, it  is possible as long as the version of BE is 2010 or newer. Here is how to do it:
