Thanks and that sounds like it but I am still unclear on what role or access rights do I need to assign to myself to be able to accomplish the deletion of the DG. &nbsp;I have tried the following but it doesn't seems right.<br />

I am logged in to SBS2008 as the domain admin and each time I tried to remove a distribution group either in Exchange or SBS Console or management shell i get access is denied because of insufficient rights.<br />
<br />
I see that this group is managed by administrator and yet I cannot delete it.<br />
